Registrations and grants

Registration modalities:

The total number of participants is limited to 40. Consequently, registration to the thematic school needs to be validated by the organization committee. Please contact focolise@sciencesconf.org (Object: Pre-registration) and indicate your academic position, your research topics, and the main reasons that motivate your participation to this school. (1–2 pages maximum), before May, 11th.

Supporting grants:

You can apply to the two kinds of grants.

Strasbourg University provides a limited number of grants, specifically devoted to PhD students, covering the fees of the school. 'To apply, send a letter from your supervisor or team leader motivating this applicationcandidater, by email to focolise@sciencesconf.org (Object: Grants application) before April 30th.

The scientific society EGC also offers some grants, with the same purpose. They are intended to PhD students or young researchers, but senior reseachers interested in this school can also apply. The application should explain the interest of this school with respect to your research activities and that the applicant belongs to the community of knowledge extraction and management. Accepting the grant implies, morally at most, to submit an article to the next EGC conference, with no guaranty of being accepted, of course. Please send applications by email to Nicolas Lachiche.

Fees:

The fees include the attendace to the school, lunches and hotel (Twin room). The inscription is free for CNRS employees (including PhD students).
